HIGHLIGHTS OF JULY 2026

  • Bhavan's Scholarship Examination 2025–26: Pranav Praveen (Class XI) secured 1st Rank (Gold Medal); Naman Sachin Kanoth (Class V) and Haridath R. Nair (Class IX) secured 3rd Rank (Bronze Medal). Distinction Awardees: Ann Pearl Jude, Anushmi A. R., Arjun Renjith, Abhinav G., Ishitha Susan George, Skandon K. S., Arya Unnikrishnan, Avani Krishna, and Sreeraj C. R.
  • Eswaran Nampoothiry Kesavan (Class IX A) received Diplomatic Commendation (First Prize) in the UNDP Committee, while Harinarayanan T. R. (Class IX A) earned Special Verbal Mention (Second Prize) in the WHA Committee at RMUN hosted by Rajagiri Public School.
  • Devna V Menon (Class VI A) won First Position in the All Kerala Unrated Youth Chess Championship.
  • Thanmay Santhosh (Class V) secured First Rank, Shrinidhi K. A. (Class VII) secured Second Rank, and Niketha N. Nishad (Class VIII) secured Third Rank in the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha Sugama Hindi Examination 2025.
  • At the Chessmate Inter-School Chess Tournament, our students delivered commendable performances. In the High School section, Aditya D. Menon of X B secured 8th place, Pravit P. Nair of VIII A secured 13th place, and Abhinav Sreejith of IX A secured 15th place. In the Lower Primary section, Muhammed Aman Ajmal of III B secured 19th place. The school also achieved the Overall Third Position in the tournament.
  • Nivedya M (Class IX B) secured Second Position in the Artica – Pencil Shading Competition (Category IV) at KAIROS 2026 organised by Assisi Vidyaniketan School.
  • Eza Joan and Isabelle Maria (Class VIII A) emerged as Winners of "The Smallest Flower" Contest organised by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai. 
  • Devaangana Jayaprakash and Aradhya Manoj won Third Prize in the Malayalam Recitation Competition (Muthuchippi) at Vista 2026, conducted by Rajagiri Public School.
  • Reyansh Renjith (Class III A) secured 15th Position in the 6th Edition of the Spring Blossoms Colouring Competition.
  • Abhinav Sreejith (Class IX A) secured 25th place in the FIDE Rating Chess Tournament, along with Second Place (Below 1600 Rating Category) and Fourth Place (Under-16 Rapid Chess Tournament).
  • Eza Joan and Isabelle Maria (Class VIII A) emerged as Winners of "The Smallest Flower" Contest organised by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai.

HIGHLIGHTS OF JUNE 2026

  • Our school received the KIZSAPS Green School Award 2026 instituted by St. Antony’s Public School, Kizhakkambalam, . The award was presented in recognition of the school's exemplary commitment to environmental sustainability, eco-friendly practices, and various green initiatives implemented on the campus.
  • Bhadra Anoop (Class VII A) secured First Prize in the 7th Kerala State Amateur Kickboxing Championship 2026 and First Prize in the District Kickboxing Championship, bringing laurels to the school through an outstanding performance.
  • Shriya Sandeep (Class VII A) won First Prize in the Upper Primary Girls' Recital Competition held in connection with Sankarolsavam 2026, organized by Adisankara Janmadesa Vikasana Samithi, demonstrating outstanding talent in recitation.

  • The prizes for the winners of Srushti 2K26 – Aeternum, organized by Bhavan's Munshi Vidyashram, Tripunithura, were presented during the school assembly in recognition of their outstanding achievement.

  • Eight students participated in the Samanvay AIBMUN 2026, hosted by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Chevayur, Kozhikode, on 10–11 April 2026 and organized by Shikshan Bharati. The team was accompanied by Dr. Sabu Samuel and Ms. Omana Joseph. Master Balamurali won the Best Delegate Award in IP Photography.

  • Nivedh Ranju Pillai of Class IV A, a dedicated member of the Valasseri River Swimming Club, Aluva, successfully completed his first river  crossing of the Periyar River on 24 May 2026.
  • Our NCC team successfully completed the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) conducted by 5 Kerala Girls Battalion NCC, Ernakulam.
  • Master Reyansh Ranjith of Class III A, secured First Place in Fancy Dress and Second Place in Pencil Drawing at the Gowda Saraswath Cultural Competition. His outstanding performance earned him recognition as a Young National Record Holder by Child Dream Booster Hub Book of Records.

  • At the International Olympic Day Celebrations 2026 Painting Competition organized by the Ernakulam District Olympic Association, Nivedya M of Class IX B secured First Prize in the High School (HS) category, while Afshan Althaf of Class VII A won Second Prize in the Upper Primary (UP) category.

  • In the SOF International Social Studies Olympiad (2025–26), Bhavan's Varuna Vidyalaya, Kochi, achieved an impressive performance with 3 Gold Medals of Distinction, 1 Zonal Silver Medal, and 8 Gold Medals of Excellence (Class Topper Medals).
