Christmas Celebrations 2025 at Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya
Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara, celebrated Christmas with joy and reverence on December 22, 2025. The programme commenced with a prayer by the school choir, followed by the pledge and the address of welcome by Diya Jimmy of Class XI B.
Rev. Fr. Poulose, Assistant Superior of St. Teresa’s Monastery, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his Christmas message, he spoke about peace and love, drawing inspiration from biblical teachings and emphasising the spirit of universal brotherhood and harmony. Addressing the gathering, the Principal, Smt. Remadevi K P, highlighted the importance of altruistic gestures during the festive season and encouraged students to practise kindness, compassion, and sharing, especially towards the less fortunate.
The programme also featured a Bible reading by Ira Ann Alex of Class IX A, followed by a variety of cultural entertainments presented by the students.
Rebecca Mary George of Class XI B proposed the vote of thanks, and the celebrations concluded with the National Anthem. To further enhance the mirth and enthusiasm of the occasion, cake slices were distributed to students of Classes I to XII, graciously sponsored by the PTA.
The event reinforced the true spirit of Christmas, spreading a message of unity, empathy, and goodwill among the school community.
