A Celebration of Partnership at Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya
Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara, celebrated its PTA Day with vibrant participation from parents, teachers, and distinguished guests, reflecting the spirit of meaningful partnership that underpins the institution. The programme commenced at 2.00 p.m. with spirited sports events.
The formal proceedings began with an invocation, after which Sri Harikrishnan C, PTA Vice President, delivered the welcome address. The PTA Annual Report was then presented by Smt. Remadevi K. P., PTA Secretary, outlining the year’s initiatives and achievements. Sri E. Ramankutty, Director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra, addressed the gathering, emphasising the enduring significance of value-based education.
The Chief Guest, Smt. Uma Thomas, MLA, Thrikkakara Constituency, lauded the school’s collaborative ethos and inspired students to pursue excellence with a strong sense of responsibility. Shri Prabhasuthan P Vice Chairman SMC NPOL, Smt Smitha Jayaraj Vice Principal and Smt Priya Menon KG In Charge Bhavan's Bala Mandir were present on the occasion.The Prize Distribution ceremony recognised teachers for their commendable years of dedicated service, and awards were presented to winners of various cultural and sports events.Refreshments were served to all the attendees during the course of the programme.Dr. Sreeranjanini M. K., Member of the PTA Executive Committee, proposed the vote of thanks.
