Celebrating Excellence: Teachers' Day at Bhavan's Varuna Vidyalaya Thrikkakara
Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara, celebrated Teachers’ Day with solemnity and gratitude, honouring the invaluable role of educators in shaping young minds. The programme began with a warm welcome and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
The Chief Guest, Shri Duvvuri Seshagiri, Outstanding Scientist and Director, NPOL, was joined by Shri E. Ramankutty, Director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kochi Kendra; Shri K. Suresh, Deputy Director; Shri Harikrishnan, PTA Vice President; Principal Smt. Remadevi K.P., Vice Principal Smt. Smitha Jayaraj, K G in Charge Smt Priya Menon and PTA Executive members.
In his address, the Chief Guest reflected on his personal experiences and highlighted the transformative influence of teachers in nurturing confidence, motivation, and lifelong learning. Shri E. Ramankutty delivered the keynote address, while Smt. Remadevi K.P. conveyed words of goodwill.
A touching moment came when students of Classes X and XII offered Gurudakshina, expressing heartfelt gratitude to their mentors. The PTA further honoured the teachers with mementos, applauding their tireless dedication to shaping future generations.
