Bhavan's Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara hosted Insignia 2K23, the Inter-school Literary Fest. Various CBSE schools in and around Kochi participated in the literary extravaganza which set the platform for all the literary enthusiasts to showcase their originality and creativity.The literary fest consisted of 5 varied events encompassing languages English, Sanskrit, Hindi and Malayalam. The chief guest of the inaugural function was Shri R K Damodaran, the multi-faceted genius who is a renowned poet , a journalist and a lyricist.
CA Venugopal C Govind, Chairman Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kochi Kendra, Shri E Ramankutty, Director Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kochi Kendra, Dr K A Thomas, President PTA , Smt Remadevi K P, Principal, Bhavan's Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara, Vice Principal Smt Bindu M R and Asst,Vice Principal Smt, Smitha Jayaraj adorned the stage along with the Chief Guest.
Sri R K Damodaran in his inaugural address highlighted the essence and origin of literature and remarked that our mother tongue helps us to stay connected to our traditional and cultural roots.
Smt Priya R Pai, the well known Carnatic Vocalist and Playback singer honoured the winners in the Valedictory function. She also enthralled the audience with a melodious rendition. Shri Biju Gopal , Chairman, SMC NPOL and Smt Aprana Lakshman S Vice President PTA Smt Remadevi K P, Principal, Bhavan's Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara, Vice Principal Smt Bindu M R and Asst,Vice Principal Smt, Smitha Jayaraj were also present for the occasion.
Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya Kakanad bagged the overall championship trophy with 40 points while Bhavan's Vidya Mandir Eroorwas adjudged as the Runner's Up with 31points of Insignia 2k23.
