To revive interest and increase knowledge about traditional and ancient dance forms of Kerala, live performance of the temple art Ottanthullal was arranged in the school.
NIE
Newspaper in Education is a programme started in association with the leading dailies ‘the Indian Express’ and ‘ the Hindu’. News Papers are distributed to the students at a reduced price. NIE helps the students to improve their general awareness.
Reading Period
Every day, after the lunch break twenty minutes' time is allotted as reading period to enhance their reading skills. The students and the staff members use this period for extra reading.
After-school-hours activities for students:
More than 100 students (of class I V) take advantage of the extra coaching provided in Fine Arts like Drawing,Music, Dance, Chess, Karate and Musical Instruments. These students, who have to wait for more than an hour after class in order to be able to board the school bus home, opt for the training that is provided by the teachers of the school.

Vigyanotsav-All Kerala Inter-school Science exhibition aims to awaken the spirit of enquiry in the students. It is an annual event.
