In connection with International Day of Yoga celebrations, week-long programmes were organised for both students and parents. To maintain health and wellness of our students and their families, videos on Yoga Kriyas, which could be practised by both students and parents, were shared from 16 June 2021 to 22 June 2021. Students were encouraged to practise those Kriyas and were asked to share the photographs. A webinar “Yoga with Family”, led by Smt Raji Abhilash, Yoga Instructor, Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram, Thiruvamkulam, was organised on 20th June, 2021. Parents and students actively participated in it. On the International Day of Yoga, Yogacharya Shri Varghese Vazhoor, our Chief Guest, addressed the students and staff on the virtual platform. He enlightened the audience on the importance of practising Yoga and making it an integral part of our lifestyle. A video of Master Varun Shouri performing different Yogasanas and photographs of students in different Yoga postures were shown in the morning assembly.
