GURUPOORNIMA 2023
With benediction in the air and veneration in the heart, the students and teachers of Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya Thrikkakara celebrated Gurupoornima on 3rd July 2023. Kum Gayathri Abhilash of class VIII delivered a speech highlighting the role of ‘Guru’ in everyone’s life and the importance of paying respect to the ‘Guru’. Principal Smt Remadevi K P, Vice Principal Smt Bindu M R and Asst Vice Principal Smt Smitha Jayaraj received Gurudakshina from Master Alphonse Biju, the Senior Headboy, Kum Lakshmipriya M ,the Senior Headgirl and Master Aravind D, the Senior Sports Captain respectively in the morning assembly.
The students of all the classes paid homage to their teachers by offering Gurudakshina as a representation of paying gratitude to the teacher, to convey the message that it is an incomparable journey where the Guru leads you from the material to the divine and from the ephemeral to the eternal.
